Q: What should I bring to my first class?
A: Just bring yourself and a water bottle! We are happy to provide mats and towels complimentary to all of our practitioners!Most classes are hot and humid so you will get sweaty! We also recommend bringing a change of clothes and shower supplies to freshen up in our locker rooms immediately after class.
Q: Do I need prior yoga experience to join a class?
A: Not at all! Many of our classes, including Bikram BLYSS and BLYSS Fusion, are beginner-friendly.Q: What should I wear to class?
A: Wear lightweight, moisture-wicking clothing designed for movement. We recommend tank tops or sports bras with shorts or yoga leggings.For our Abhyanga class, where we use oil for massages, less is better. We recommend bandeau tops and shorts.
Q: How hot are the classes?
A: Our hot yoga classes are held in rooms heated to 105-110°F to promote detoxification, flexibility, and focus. We also offer classes with reduced heat, around 95°F, like our BLYSS Harmony and BLYSS Presence.Q: How early should I arrive for class?
A: Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your first class to check in and familiarize yourself with the studio.Q: Can I attend a class if I’m pregnant?
A: It depends on your stage of pregnancy and familiarity with yoga. Please consult your healthcare provider and notify the instructor beforehand.Q: How do I book a class?

Q: What membership options do you offer?
A: We offer a range of memberships, including Monthly Auto-Pay Memberships, an Introductory Monthly Unlimited Plan for new members, and Annual Memberships. Visit our Memberships page for detailed pricing and benefits.Q: Can I freeze my membership?
A: Yes! You can freeze your membership for up to 3 months per year for a $25/month fee. Simply send a request to info@hotblyss.com.Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Memberships with minimum commitment periods (e.g., 3 months or 6 months) require a 30-day notice to cancel after the commitment period ends. Early cancellations may incur a fee equal to one month’s dues.Q: Are there discounts for workshops and wellness services?
A: Yes! Members enjoy discounts of up to 50% on workshops, 20% on wellness services, and 15% on private classes, depending on their plan.Q: What are guest passes, and how do they work?
A: Guest passes allow you to bring friends new to BLYSS for a free class. They are included with certain memberships and refresh monthly.Q: What is Open Studio Access, and how does it work?
A: BLYSS is proud to offer Open Studio Access, think of it as Open Gym. Our students love the hot room, but sometimes cannot make a class or want to do their own thing. Our members are allowed the ability to use the hot room for their own use and practice. Members are expected to maintain studio etiquette and must have signed liability waivers prior to being granted access.Q: What is the Mat Concierge Service, and how does it work?
A: BLYSS is proud to offer Mat Concierge Service. Caught in traffic and running behind? Have a favorite spot in the room to practice? With our Mat Concierge Service, members can designate their preferred location in the studio and if they are signed up at least 30 minutes prior to the start of class, they can expect to have their mat and towel laid out for them when they come in. No more worrying about squeezing in, not being able to see, or rushing to get in. Now, you can spend more time warming up, getting water, chit-chatting, or simply relaxing before class! -
Q: What is Ayurveda?
A: Ayurveda is a holistic system of medicine originating in India that focuses on balance in mind, body, and spirit. It includes dietary guidance, lifestyle practices, and treatments like Abhyanga and Shirodhara.Q: What Ayurveda services do you offer?
A: We offer individual Ayurveda consultations, self-massage classes (Abhyanga), and treatments like Shirodhara and Vasti to support overall wellness.Q: How do I book an Ayurveda consultation or treatment?
A: Ayurveda services can be booked online through our website or app, or by emailing the studio at info@hotblyss.com.Q: Can I combine Ayurveda treatments with yoga classes?
A: Absolutely! Combining Ayurveda and yoga helps promote balance and enhances the benefits of both practices. -
Q: What is your late arrival policy?
A: We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before class. If class has started, late arrivals will not be allowed entrance to ensure the class remains undisturbed.Q: What is the Studio Etiquette?
A: We request silence be observed in the yoga rooms to maintain a meditative environment. Phones and electronic devices are prohibited in the practice areas. We have provided storage with individual locks in both locker rooms to store your electronic devices. If you must bring your devices into the studio, please ensure the ringers, vibrator, lights, etc. are all turned off and silenced.Please help us maintain our beautiful community by being respectful and courteous to each other.
Q: Do you have changing rooms and showers?
A: Yes, we provide clean and spacious changing rooms with showers for your convenience.Q: Can I bring my own mat and towel?
A: Yes! However, mat and towel rentals (one each per student per class) are complimentary at BLYSS.Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes, there is ample parking near the studio. Details can be found on our Contact Us page.Q: Can I host private events or workshops at BLYSS?

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and payments through our website, the BLYSS app, or the MindBody app.Q: Can I switch between membership plans?
A: Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your membership plan by contacting us after your initial commitment period. Changes may require a 30-day notice.Q: Can I share or transfer my classes/membership?
A: Unfortunately, classes and memberships are non-transferrable and are for individual use only. If you would like pricing for a couple or family membership, please email us at info@hotblyss.com.Q: Do you provide refunds?
A: All purchases are final and refunds will not be granted, unless in the event of technical or human error.Q: Are there additional fees for cancellations or freezes?
A: Membership freezes incur a $25/month fee. Early cancellation fees apply for memberships with commitment periods. -
Q: What steps are you taking for cleanliness and hygiene?
A: We sanitize all studio spaces, mats, and equipment between classes. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are available throughout the studio.Q: Can I practice yoga if I have an injury?
A: Please consult your healthcare provider before attending if you have an injury. If your healthcare provider has cleared you for practice, please notify your instructor so they may offer modifications.Q: What should I do if I feel unwell during class?
A: Stop and rest immediately. If needed, inform your instructor or step out of the room to recover.
